The DECISION made

Finally, after struggling on which path of career i should choose, i've mad up my mind.. i repeat, I've made up my mind!!!!!
i spent 4 hours... seeking way deep into my heart, asking which path shpuld i go??? why?? how?? is it possible?? what are the prospects?? can i survive??
is it worth the risk??

It was Professional VS Commercial
Audit VS Commercial ACCountant

and what is the result???? no .. its not audit.. i took the road less traveled.

Robert Frost (1874–1963). Mountain Interval. 1920.

1. The Road Not Taken

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth; 5

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same, 10

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back. 15

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

YES INDEED... Robert Frost inspired me.... 99.8% of ACCountinG students will chose to work in an Audit firm.. 3 years the most.. and start retaliating.. running to commercial.... many has failed to see the outer side of the world.. we keep sticking on being under the coconut shell... without realising that these are the careers that we may pursue

Finally!!!!!!!

Finally!!! Strategic management exam is over...Islamic finance is over.... damn,... so relieved.. now am awaiting for my last paper............. AUDIT II.. which most people regard as the killer subject.. man u gotta really think like and auditor in this paper... skeptical, completeness and blah blah.....btw, strategic management exam was very tiring.. from the beginning of the exam till the last dot of ink on the answer book, i hardly spent a moment without writing... its 2 hours of writing non stop... well not that bad actually... heard that in Japan the student are like writing nonstop in a 4 hours exam ... imagine that .. sure u'll cramp ur fingers... luckily the lecturer was kind enuf to give us hints during the exams.. phew.. islamic finance exam was very interesting.... very linient in giving out marks.. imagine just to total up and percentage the amount of sles you are awarded 4 marks.. hahaha.. well i just hope audit would be that simple too...

it just makes me think that have i taken the right pth in shaping my future?? i mean is accounting or auditing the right 'marriage' for me?? after finishing uni, i would still have 3 years of professional practice awaiting and i need to complete at least one professional paper be it ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MICPA, ICAEW n etc... etc... all of these are damn hard to achieve regardless of the number of people who actualy got it tho... but it takes years!!!!!! and if in 5 year u dont get to finish the last paper, u'll have to re'take the paper from scratch... i really need some advices from some people..... shud i just work while i study or study then work?? shud i work in the Big 4 or just medium sized companies?? shud i go for professional or shud i change course to commercial?? or shud i just go for other profession???

Who says growing up is fun?? the oldr you get, the more problems you get into, the more frequent you fall, the less confident you are....

however... there seems to be a few words like optimism, persevearance, aspirations, inspriration and motivation....allthese are going to get me going but its a matter of time tho....

shootz!!!!!!, it getting l8, gtg for now until then u'll be hearing from me very soon.. =)

My first post!!

Hey guys out there..
seems like i've been lagging behind in the internet entertainment or should in say the BLOGGING scene, well thanks to the slow connection in my UNI and to my brain for not reminding me of creating a blog.

it's like 4 hours to my Strategic Management final exam and yeah, im still sitting down at home busy surfing the net and creating this blog.. i bet those who are taking this subject will be and mayb at this time are 'cursing' our 'beloved' lecturer for not giving out tips.. in the name of fairness and ethics... damn, 2 hrs to complete a strategy reccommendation and not knowing what company will be out in the exams.. WTH man... This is SO not GOOD!!!!!!

anyways, cant do much for now... there are some other important things to attend to e.g. blogging. haha.. i shud be confining myself facing four walls and a book to try and score an 'A' for this 'Bloody' Subject. Until then Adios Amigos..
